Laguna Gloria - 11.14.09 Classically Elegant Affair

I really love it when we create flowers for a wedding and 6 months later a bridesmaid calls us and says..."now I'm getting married!" That's what happened with Anna. She and Michael got married last Saturday at Laguna Gloria. The lovely Mollie at Bloom Photography has already posted major eye candy of this wedding on her blog...check it out! I just love the way Mollie shot this really elegant evening. The chuppah was my favorite part and thanks to Ilios lighting for hanging that gorgeous chandelier inside of it.

Anna and Michael...we wish you the best!

P.S. I'm off to Belize for the week. The shop is open and business as usual...just without me! I'll post more mid-next week when I am back in action.

Summer wedding revisited...

Amy and Andy are a beautiful and sweet couple. They were married on 06.27.09 at the Smith Family Chapel and had their reception at AustinSeventyOne.

Amy sent us a lovely thank you note: "We just wanted to say thanks again for making our wedding day so memorable - the flowers were beautiful! We hope you enjoy the pictures!"
We wanted to share the amazing images. Credit goes to the very talented Stella Alesi. Thanks Stella!

Wedding bliss...even in the rain!

We love our happy, happy clients! Sorry for the late post today. Hope this beautiful wedding makes up for the delay!

"LuAnn and everyone at Verbena made my wedding truly one to remember. We had to move inside at the last minute because of the rain, and Verbena happily went back to the store, grabbed more flowers, brainstormed and executed a wonderful new inside display for the ceremony. THEY ARE THE BEST!"

This was such an amazing review from a beautiful and wonderful person. We had the honor to create the arrangements for Kathryn and Johnathan's wedding in September. There was rain and a back up plan...and man was it a fabulous wedding! Thanks for being such an awesome client Kathryn. We wish you the best!
Thank you to the very talented Gary Donihoo of f8studio for the cool images. If you want to see more of this happy couple click here!

Rare Magazine- Wedding Show 11.15.09

Rare Magazine October Issue featured Verbena Floral Design in the above article. They included a lovely photo by the very talented Suzi Q. It was a pleasure to be quoted in the article. We enjoyed having a little Verbena insight about the wedding scene shared with the world!
The Rare Weddings Show is also coming up. Laguna Gloria is hosting and we are looking forward to a fun night with great food and a fantastic fashion show. Get your tickets here!

A Rave Review from the National Center of Missing and Exploited Children

The whole team here at Verbena has been working very hard the last couple of months! We've been working on some amazing weddings, private parties and even had the opportunity to work with a new non profit organziation. We created floral arrangements for the National center for missing and exploited children back in September. Above is a photo of the sample we made for them.
Today we got a wonderful thank you note from the director Mary Gorham Malia.
She wrote:
"Dear Verbena, I want to thank you for doing such wonderful work with the table flowers for our event. Everyone raved about the centerpieces. We enjoyed working with you."
These happy clients make our hard work worthwhile! Thanks so much.

Also, we will be posting blogs every Monday and Wednesday from now keep checking in!
